Explain What I Do to Receive a Welcome Furoshiki Visit and What Happens During the Visit

1) First, call or e-mail and request a visit.
Kanto: 03-5472-7074
Kansai: 06-6441-2584
Email Welcome Furoshiki

2) Upon receiving your request for a visit and understanding your location, a Representative, living in or near your area, will contact you to arrange your free welcome visit at a convenient time and place, either at your home or other agreed upon meeting place.

3) During your visit you will be presented with your free welcome pack, wrapped in a traditional blue and white Furoshiki. The pack contains a wealth of information and services that will help you make your time in Japan as easy and comfortable as possible.

4) Your Welcome Furoshiki Representative will answer any questions you may have about living in Japan and offer advice and ideas about living in your local area. Each visit is to a family or individual to make sure we respond personally to your interests.

5) Each Welcome Furoshiki visit lasts approximately one hour. Many foreigners are so pleased someone cares enough to welcome them to the international community and their new home in Japan, that they often remember the visit for years and keep and use the furoshiki in their homes.

6) After your visit, we would appreciate your feedback as to how useful the visit was for you. Please use the online questionnaire, "Give Feedback on Your Welcome Furoshiki Visit".

7) Please recommend us to your friends, who are new to Japan.
